Description of Organization

Singapore Planned Family Association (SPFA). Their vision is: promotion of healthy family values, human sexuality and reproduction leading to the building of strong, happy families and society. Due to the competitiveness of society in Singapore, many people in Singapore have been focusing more on keeping ahead of others often at the dispense of interpersonal relations. Along with the rise of technology and social media which has distracted people from personal interaction, family values and relations may have been neglected once in awhile. Symptoms have shown itself in society in the form of lower birth rates and rising divorce rates just to name some. We hope to focus on promoting healthy family values as it is something close to our hearts and we wish to help to keep it.

Intended use of funds through the YFC 2023 programme

We shall use the funds to organise programmes for students and parents to foster a better parent-child relationship and for family outreach programmes which can help bring family closer together.

Engaging and involving the YFC participants

Our YFC teams will enjoy:
A tour to our office and to understand our organisation and our mission, hoping that our relationship with them will continue after YFC as our student members form our youth group.

– courses on personality for them to understand themselves better
– mentorship for their fund raising activities
