Description of Organization

As a mental health charity, Club HEAL provides counselling and rehabilitation services to anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We offer caregiver support group and corporate training to empower individuals and organisations in understanding mental health and wellbeing. We also campaign to raise awareness and promote understanding.

Intended use of funds through the YFC 2023 programme

The funds raised would be used to support Club HEAL’s rehabilitation programme. The unfunded rehabilitation programme has a high operation cost as it operates daily with little to no charge to the beneficiaries. the operation cost is high as programme materials such as art materials, clay and other items are used during the programme sessions.

Engaging and involving the YFC participants

Volunteers would need to attend our Healing Friends Training to have a better understanding of mental health in general. the volunteers would also be invited to join a rehab session to allow them to have the interaction with our clients with mental health issues. in this way, the volunteers would be able to better understand the stigma surrounding the issue and the importance of raising awareness in the public.
