Team Reflections

Working together with the Singapore Association of Visually Handicapped (SAVH) made me to be more aware towards the blind people. When I feel or see Braille in a public place, I become more conscious that the visually handicapped people are also around us. I remember when I first visited SAVH with my team members, I realized that being visually handicapped did not stop them from living a normal life. They were able to create various handicrafts and even operate a computer by listening to sounds. I understand that our weaknesses should not stop us to keep walking and go through difficulties in life, just like the visually handicapped people do. Although they do not have the ability to see, they still continue and live their life to the fullest.
