Description of Organization

Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation is a registered charity in Singapore, with IPC status. The Foundation aims to support patients and their families as they battle blood cancers. We work closely with the doctors and transplant teams in Singapore hospitals to provide financial and counselling support to people affected by blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma etc. Since 2002, the Foundation has approved more than Smillion to more than 740 patients who undergo curative treatment in our local restructured hospitals. We collaborate with community partners and support group to facilitate and close the gap of care needs, raising awareness and public education of the diseases in the community.

Intended use of funds through the YFC 2023 programme

All donations will be credited into our General Funds to administer financial support to our beneficiaries.

Engaging and involving the YFC participants

Student volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in fund raising activities for our charity. They could also raise awareness for the cause through social medias, organising meaningful activities or create artwork or souvenirs for our beneficiaries, support our events or group activities. The student volunteers will also have the chance to learn more about the diseases and development from medical experts or our partners. We encourage the volunteers to be creative and resourceful in their project, to raise awareness for the cause, to sharpen leadership skills and team building, making a positive impact for the targeted community as well.
