Description of Organization

To assist the Deaf to achieve a better quality of life, advocate for their equal opportunity, and enable them to integrate into and contribute to society. We provide social, education and care services for the Deaf, and operate a vocational training school.

Intended use of funds through the YFC 2023 programme

We need to expand our education service for young children, to enable them to have a head-start in life. Our Little Hand Bilingual-Bicultural Program helps to develop the cognitive, linguistic and social skills of children aged 6 and under, through play and exploration of their surroundings. Funding is also needed to sustain our support towards Deaf children studying in mainstream schools, and to extend our reach to serve more Deaf persons in need within the society.

Engaging and involving the YFC participants

We will invite them to visit our centre and get involved in our programs.
