“Vision – Our vision is to make Saint Theresa’s Home a cheery and familial home for the elderly and aged sick, a place where they can live out the golden years or recuperate sufficiently from their illness to be able to return home.

Mission – Our mission is to provide quality holistic care for the elderly and aged sick through the continuum of nursing and spiritual care tailored to the needs of each resident.

Intended use of funds through the YFC 2023 programme

Since our Nursing Home is about 85 years and depending on the amount of funds raised, we could use the funds to purchase/replace rehab equipment, carry out minor repairs and painting of the Wards, liaise with Nursing Department to conduct Dementia programs for the nursing staff.

Engaging and involving the YFC participants

Certainly, we will invite these YFC teams to come on board as volunteers. St Theresa’s Home is one of several nursing homes under Catholic Welfare Services (CWS) and CWS has many other programs looking after the poor, homeless and rough sleepers. We will share the wonderful work that our volunteers are carrying out by giving our beneficiaries their time and talent. We will invite them to befriend our residents and assist in several programs engaging our residents.
