Description of Organization

St Theresa’s Home is primarily a nursing home providing care for the elderly.
1. Mission Statement: “Our mission is to provide quality holistic care for the elderly and aged sick through the continuum of nursing and spiritual care tailored to the needs of each resident.”
2. Vision Statement: “Our vision is to make Saint Theresa’s Home a cheery and familial home for the elderly and aged sick, a place where they can live out the golden years or recuperate sufficiently from their illnesses to be able to return home.”

Intended use of funds through the YFC programme

We need funds to purchase one Bladder Scanner (estimated cost ,000) and five wheelchairs (approximate cost ,500).

Engaging and involving the YFC participants

Invite the team members who are raising funds for us for a 3 – 4 hours Orientation Program. Present a brief history and set-up of St Theresa’s Home. Take them though out Mission Statement, Vision Statement and Core Values. Share with them our rich 86-year-old history and show them photos from our archives. Conduct a tour of our nursing home and the facilities available for the residents. Finally, attach them to one of Nurse Managers in the Wards to allow the team member to talk to the residents.
